This February has seen some unusual temperature variations. Bengaluru was ultra chilly at 12-13 degrees C. Added to this were few virii in the air, and everyone were down with viral fevers, cough, sore throat and other typical Bengaluru syndrome.
My case was similar and trying out different modes of treatment did not help much. What really then helped was a shift to summer which I was eagerly awaiting. And change did happen. The second fornight of Februrary is bound to see the minimum temperatures hovering around 17-19 degree mark, while the maximum temperatures feel like May really at 32 degrees and above with very little humidity levels.
Whatever happened, has happened for the good, and atleast we have sunny mornings these days!
Time to welcome the summer and its showers to cool us down once in a while. Enjoy your summer and holidays if any!

The last time I brought you pictures of the foggy winter in Bengaluru. That was year 2007. Its already one year now and Winter 2008 has just set in. Though the fog is still a couple of months away, I did chance upon the Pink Tabebuia tree in MG road (near the JDP signal). I could not resist taking this snap. The tree bears white, lavender, magenta, pink or red flowers. In spite of all the dirt and pollution present due to the reach one activity of Bengaluru metro, this tree was so inviting to look at!

Happy winter and chill out !

I headed out to my office on a clear summer’s day to get a whiff of fresh air and what I got is this

The temperature pattern in Bengaluru is becoming more and more unpredictable as each day dawns. Its a storehouse of surprises each day. The fog just lasted for a bit of inner ring road and then it was the usual clear day again ahead. How BIZZAIRE!

Today I was getting ready to drive out of my locality towards office and I was greeted by the most insane of foggy conditions just outside my home. The fog was so bad the visibility was less than 20 feet! The winter in Bengaluru has been greatly chilly this time alone which is again a climatic pattern change compared to couple of years back when it was more moderate. This is only a prelude to then what summer shall bestow upon our city ! Enjoy the pics

Here is wishing all the readers of my blog a very happy Sankranthi!
